My expertise includes focusing on relieving the symptoms of depression, anxiety, loss and bereavement. The unique challenges associated with the gay and lesbian community, such as the coming out process, sexual identity issues, and helping couples develop stronger relationships are an important part of my work. Working with people affected by chronic illness such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and end of life challenges, including caregivers, is also a significant aspect of my practice. 

Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor, I spent 12 years in the corporate world developing a strong goal-oriented approach to both work and life.
